Nasrin Mani, M.D.
Dr. Mani received her medical degree from Meharry Medical College in Nashville, Tennessee and her residency in Ophthalmology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville. She completed her Fellowship in Vitreo-Retinal Surgery at the Doneny Eye Center at University of Southern California Medical Center. Dr Mani is committed to giving back to the community and to helping the less fortunate. Her passion is working with the Los Angelitos Orphanage in Tijuana, Mexico, and she is the Medical Director and President of the San Diego Chapter of Los Angelitos Foundation.
She has received the respect of her peers, patients, and community and has been named as one of America’s Top Doctors, San Diego Top Doctor in 2013, and one of Southern California’s Top Doctors in 2010, 2011 and 2012. Dr Mani was selected by her peers, both within her specialty and outside her specialty, as a San Diego County Medical society Top Doctor for 2010, 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016, 2017, 2018 and 2019. She was also awarded the US World News Top Doctor in 2011 and 2012. Dr. Mani holds membership in the following professional organizations: American Academy of Ophthalmology, San Diego County Medical Society, American Society of Laser Medicine and Surgery and American Society of Retinal Specialists. Dr. Mani is affiliated with Scripps Memorial Hospital and Sharp Memorial Hospital.
