Dr. Majid Mani, M.D., FACS, FAAO, FASRS

He is an esteemed Ophthalmic Surgeon and Assistant Clinical Professor in Ophthalmology, specializing in the treatment of diabetes-related eye conditions, macular degeneration, retinal detachment, and glaucoma. He currently serves as Chief Medical Officer and Vice President at American Eye Associates. Dr. Mani is renowned for his expertise in diabetic retinopathy treatment, recognized with multiple awards from the American Diabetes Association.

Dr. Mani holds the distinction of being the first ophthalmologist to receive El Centro Regional Hospital's Doctor of the Year Award and sits on the Advisory Board of the American Diabetes Association. He is actively involved in the Imperial County Diabetic Education Committee. In 2015, Dr. Mani was honored as a US World News Top Doctor by Castle Connolly and has been named a TOP Doctor by the San Diego County Medical Society for eleven of the twenty-eight years he has practiced ophthalmology. He served as President of the Imperial County Medical Society from 2015 to 2017.

Dr. Mani earned his medical degree with honors from Tulane School of Medicine. As an Assistant Clinical Professor, he shares his extensive knowledge through lectures and presentations, focusing on diabetic eye care, retinal diseases, and their treatments. Dr. Mani is affiliated with institutions including Sharp Memorial Hospital and El Centro Regional Medical Center, and he is a member of prestigious organizations such as the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society for Laser Medicine and Surgery.
